Beautiful Batiks

November 2, 2011 § 1 Comment

You might have noticed that I have a new sponsor over on the right sidebar. Up till now the ad hasn’t been linked to anything while she got her webiste together but now it’s all systems go for Barb John and her dream of a travelling quilt shop.

Welcome Barb’s Batiks and Quilting Services

Barb John of Western Australia has set up an online and travelling quilt shop. She asked me to help her set up her blog which you can see here. She’s hoping to blog regularly as she travels around Australia visiting out of the way places that don’t have the luxury of a local quilt shop, classes or quilting services. Don’t you think it’s a great idea? Her first blog post is all about the making of batiks, her visits to Indonesia and her plans.

Barb has a passion for batiks and has visited Indonesia several times to buy some really stunning ones and she’s selling them at really reasonable prices. She’s set up her own website – a great feat for someone with no technical knowledge – and now just needs customers. Why not mosey on over there – www.bbandquilting.com.au – and take a look at what she has to offer? There are jelly rolls for just $35 and some great books as well.

How to contact Barb

If you need a quilt quilting or you have a special request for something feel free to contact Barb either by email at bajohn49 {at} bigpond {dot} com or by phone on 08 9296 7661.
